September '18 Patron Polls
Added 2018-09-27 07:11:41 +0000 UTCHello patrons! This month's polls will have a rather quick result! As you know, most of the content in our work is done, with the exception of sprites. That being said, while sprites are a pretty big part of the game (seeing as in-game you control one and interact with other sprites primarily), the rest of the game is pretty much playable.
So, this month we'll be asking - do you want the updates to be published only after all sprites are ready, or would you be OK with playing a version with everything is basically ready... Except the sprites?
If patrons are OK with it, we'll have these blank canvas 'placeholder' sprites first for the version releases, and the actual sprites for those characters will replace them later, once ready.

Results will take effect in a week if majority votes for placeholders!

2018-09-27 15:34:06 +0000 UTCSo, the suggestions to release a placeholder version that those who want to access the content first seems like a popular notion! After all, it's true those who don't want to play this version can simply skip it! I will think on this and make a decision shortly!

2018-09-27 14:59:27 +0000 UTCFair point of a few people above, is there a reason to not accommodate both choices, realease latest version with placeholders for those who want it and those who wishes to wait for the full experience can just chose not to download until all sprites are in the finished release? :P
2018-09-27 14:50:07 +0000 UTCAs I said before, it's usually best to playtest in a less-complete version first, since that way the artists keep working on the sprites while you or the programmers get to patch up any glaring bugs that get discovered and the full release is a lot more playable. But...as you will.
