Completely taken by surprise, Chihaya inadvertently let out a stream of bubbles from her mouth. The shadow twisted and turned, glimmering in the opaque light from the entrance to reveal its smooth silvery surface. It was a fish.

Chihaya hurriedly waded the water to lift herself, but her the position of her body seemed to have slipped during the brief encounter with the sea creature. Chihaya hit her head on the hard ceiling, and the impact jarred the alignment of rubber bands holding Chihaya’s goggles in place and compromised their vacuum. Their curved lenses quickly flooded and, in a second, Chihaya’s vision was nothing more than a dark blue blur.

I’ve developed a bit of a fascination with freedivers’ sense of ‘superiority’ when they use gear meant for much less strenuous activities. Anytime a breathholder uses fins or a mask but foregoes the Scuba, they’re showing just how capable they believe themselves to be, and nothing is more attractive than a confident, dedicated apneist.

2023-12-19 13:30:26 +0000 UTCThis shows the dangerous of swimming in enclosed spaces especially if you are inexperienced. Because if you encounter problems and need air you simply can not just swim upwards. As then you will bump you head as Chihaya showcased here
