Good to see that Jane is still in control of her exhalations, even after getting a not insignificant amount of her wind knocked out of her. If whatever it is moves, well, I’m still hoping for an appearance by at least one Spider (besides, if it’s truly beyond belief, have these two seen how long their “predators” can go between surfacing? Can they even be considered human if the Spiders take a casual 45 minute trip to the seabed?).

2023-12-10 17:58:40 +0000 UTCSeems like the outcomes are A: The orb is in possession immediately and they likely begin fighting for it B: A threat appears that the two will face when they leave, presumably a shark or creature too large to enter C: A threat is already inside, and is presumably an octopus or squid, or a small scale threat able to slip through gaps.
