Series 0 Shinkansen

Japan National Railways, 1964

Do you feel yourself being drawn to the unique, egg-like curves of this train, particularly due to their resemblence to human anatomy? If so, you’re not alone.

Yeah Spain have the fastest train network in Europe. But even then Japan is the most cutting edge when it comes to trains. As they even have maglev trains that can reach over 300 km/h. While in Sweden we barely have regular high speed trains as our rails are not designed for that

Didrik Svahn

I guess that depends, for example Spain has very expansive fast speed railway network which is quite useful because the region around Madrid urban area is very barren and other larger cities like Sevilla and Barcelona are spread out.

Ah. Should be quite an honor to be shown in a museum of birthplace of railroads.

There's also one of the first-generation Shinkansen power cars (22-141) in the British National Railway Museum in York, presented by JNR West.

The trains not only looks so much cooler and better in Japan. But also are much faster and more reliable
