Night Sky Train

Have people had a chance to spot Starlink satellites? There are apps out there that help you locate thrm, but I haven’t had luck yet. I’m sure I’m looking at the right places, but probably too much fog or clouds in the air.

Ah, thank you for the tips. Where I live it is difficult to spot anything beyond Venus, Sirius, and other brightest stars, I had thought it was due to humidity but probably light flooding is a greater factor. Only one time I have had a chance to see a real night sky out in the deserts of Arizona with Milky Way and shooting stars. It was spectacular! :-)

Aye, difference is immense. While you can see a few stars twinkling in the city sky. In the mountains you can see why they call it the milky way.

Back in the day when I lived in/near the big cities I could hardly ever see anything in the sky at night except for the moon. Recently I moved much more to the countryside and can see the the stars clearly in the night sky. At one late evening whilst cycling I looked up and was like "Oh that's what a Constellation is".
