Oh you meant it in a symbolic propose. Because I was thinking about it in a story propose in why Saki would be in such a place. So my mind went there thinking about various reasons why it could happened or not.

Since you ask, I saw the “once empty, but now refurbished” nature was fitting for the reunited father and daughter. (Maybe this was too implicit..)

Oh yes that is what it said after I read about it on the wiki. But now is the question why would Saki stand in the lobby of such a fancy hotel?

David Whitney Building on Woodward Avenue - formerly an office building, stood vacant for many decades before being renovated into a hotel. Saki is in the ground floor lobby.
