...Akashi had been dreaming. Possibly the extensive breath hold and lack of new oxygen to her brain had caused her to be delusional. Pathetic me, Akashi thought, daydreaming like this after I decided to sacrifice my life. Akashi was now operating at a level beyond any human capacity, but then she knew she wouldn't last much longer. Her shoulders would give at any moment, and then her makeshift blockade would shatter into pieces. But the Admiral still needed time. Tick. Tick. As the seconds passed, Akashi calculated how best to use the remainder of her to that end. She had the sole torpedo installed behind her that she could choose to detonate, if and when their pursuers came closed. From her dreams, Akashi recalled the frills of her white wedding dress and the warmth of the strong arms against pressed her smooth skin.
Akashi decided the past several weeks spent with her loved one were the happiest days of her life. She then exhaled all of the stale air she had kept inside her lungs. Stinging water rushed in, and her body convulsed fiercely. The wall caved in and came crushing down on her lean body. Then, in a congregated feelings of utmost joy and pain, Akashi clutched her teeth.
