Yeah that is certainly an interesting question, seeing how she did spend time with her mother training her breath holding. (And yeah sometimes Patreon makes it so that replies doesn’t show up)

There is another question: Why Saki didn't recognize her mother? (Damn! The origin post was deleted!)

Does she, though? Misao had black hair, right? That aside, something about Saki’s latest dive allowed her to get a glimpse of a fully realized Shrine Maiden, which could serve to inspire her to continue with her training. Saki’s entirely capable of outperforming the cousins, based on what we’ve seen, but is often held back by her recklessness. If she’s able to see an example in her mother every time she pushes herself that far, however, it might be worth it to send her back to the depths. Just maybe have Aya or Eri on standby, yeah?

Yeah in a sense, but I don’t want her to lose the chance to have a father figure in her life. Especially as Saki and Nate have so much father and daughter time to catch up on

So it basically is confirmed that Saki saw her mother (spirit) in that wreck then
