It's tragic that Misao died - all the more so since her death was when Saki was still quite young.

Misao had to deal with it despite her weakness body after childbirth, she went on a dangerous deep dive, but she missing in action. She was declared missing and later declared dead. Her body was never be found. But she was actually trapped in a confined space with air undersea (Like collapsed undersea cave or shipwreck that suddenly sank deeper...) She can get enough oxygen somehow and she can get food by fishing, but she unable to return surface until she is rescued by our girls...(Too many places are not scientific. what am i think about...!>_<)
