Please review the AKG K361, K371, N700NC M2 and N400NC TWS that all the top audiophiles are ranting and raving about. Apparently AKG is not dead and, in fact, reborn.

Given that the thing the Hur Durs go up against is usually crap, this was a nice change for the Hears test. And I correctly noticed there was more top end before you pointed it out; I think my audiophile senses are improving.

I have a set of X2HR’s, wouldn’t call them reference grade but they are good and the bass is very nice. Might be worth a look!

DT770 Pros. not *extra* bass. but more bass than most reference headphones

I still pay extra close attention when the jazz song hits those tom-toms on the end of the listening portion; I kinda miss the funny edits and captions

Hey, the closed back versions you speak about, are they the Hi-X60? Or are they the Hi-X55. Considering grabbing a pair of the Hi-X60's for mixed use Live mixing / music use and id absolutely love to see a video on them if you have them around. Love the videos as always.

Great video! I bought the Sennheiser HD 600's and the JDS Labs Atom Amplifier to use with my PC over a year ago. I've been using Sound ID Listen software to make the audio more flat, to make them sound even better than they already do! The Hi-X65's are a similar price to what I got my HD 600's for so would it be worth it to get them or should I increase my budget and get something else? I want to start a collection but I don't want them to sound too similar.

That locking connector is the same as what Sennheiser uses on the HD 599s and some others. That sounds great, to me, since you can already get all sorts of cables for Sennheiser stuff!
