An old drummer buddy was using one of those Zilbells a long time ago. He settled on inverting it above another cymbal to keep it less obtrusive, like your trashinator

The knackered snare sounds like when you go to a metal gig in a crummy pub that isn't mic'ed up properly, but you put up with it because they somehow have pints of cider for £2 less than any other pub in town... may or may not be based on real events. It totally has that half arsed vibe to it. That bell is... a thing. It's both ear splittingly loud yet it's so easily drowned out by everything else. Schrodinger's bell.

I just had a thought. The red sexy speaker has a dead dead battery right? Why not drill a hole in it, and solder/epoxy a barrel Jack in it? Just remove the battery, and connect the battery leads to the barrel Jack. Then you'll have a permanently powered sexy speaker!
