I hate this panel with all of my heart. If I'm gonna keep at this panel-a-day approach, I'm gonna have to avoid 'dog panels' like this that rely on the better ones around them to prop them up. However when I drew this one I was thinking it'd be supported by the like, 10 other panels around it so I let it slide. Not doing that again. See y'all in the morning with the next one!

And remember, at the end of each month I'll compile all of these into a longform strip for easier reading! Since I started this approach very late, these past three updates (each single panels) will go into August's longform release. Hope y'all are okay with that. Love y'all!

Oh and since I haven't done one of these for a while, if you want to follow me on social media here's my links:

Oh boy, it really does seem like some people (both here and in real life) are willing to try and weaponize almost anything that they are able to get their hands on! Which isn't a good thing at all, given just how dangerous and corruptive Xor's influence had actually ended up being on the people who had been in power, when normal people were unaware of his presence... And it's also interesting how these two are currently blaming Evita's group for having let that particular genie out of the bottle here (namely the existence of both Xor and Xoranium being made public knowledge, since that sounds like Xoranium may have been around for a while now, just under a different name; since they didn't know just how this stuff was made), given that it was actually Michelle and Laura who'd ended up exposing Xor and defeated his spirit for the first time, something which has now caused some unexpected consequences after the fact? While this situation can certainly be seen as being Evita's fault, if you look at things from a certain angle, it mainly shows how these two are looking for a suitable target to vent their frustrations out on; since both Michelle and Laura might have been too highly regarded by most normal people (along with their superiors) for any smear campaign to work on them.

This feels like the "oh shit, we blew it!" panel. Things are heating up, and not in the good way.
