Mage handmaiden desgin

ok dolls, I've been thinking for awhile now, which theme we should go with for the mistress (the fantasy dungeon seires i have in the works) first handmadien,
an for some reason i keep thinking mage, so here is the desgin i was thinking of for this handmaiden.
im torn between the two of them, as i cant pick XD soo...poll time.
"after the mistress reawakens and begins to re-establish her domain once more, a apprentice mage seeks out to destory the mistress, before she can regain her full power, and bring the mortal world into under her rule once more.
in his eagerness to prove himself as a mage, he confronts her alone, seeing the potental in this appraentice mage, the mistress dose not kill him, but instead overpowers him and transforms him into one of her first handmaidens."
are they happy about this? after there transformation...
or
are they resentfull and unhappy but now uner the mistresses control?

Starts out in a "prisoner within their own body" type scenario, but as time goes by she slowly comes to enjoy her new life and status. Until finally she realizes that, whatever pseudo-personality had been directing her body initially, had actually faded away a long time ago. Think of it in terms of that one quote from The Shawshank Redemption: "These walls are funny. First you hate 'em, then you get used to 'em. Enough time passes, you get so you depend on them. That's institutionalized."
