We're giving proper simulated liquids another chance instead of various geometry nodes and particle sim hybrids. Which judging by multiple blend sessions throughout the years is like a 4th attempt at coming up with a stable, reusable sim setup. A setup with which characters can interact in all manner of ways with stable results.
Here's a portion of test renders from three weeks ago.
More or less settled on overall look and color correction.
