Smth I struggle with a lot too. Thinking something will finally make me happy, when that's not how we work at all. Chasing treasure, when the gold was already inside us.
Also Ryan has always had such heroic tendencies since Stare down... He just thinks he does it for selfish reasons all the time. When he's really such a selfless and empathetic person. huhuh. I love this boy.

It's not about getting a plastic trophy to put on a shelf, it's about ACTUALLY being the best. And his mom is proud because he's upstanding and dedicated. And GENUINE for the most part. I'm jealous of people who were raised to just say what they think. Not to the point of being an asshole about it, but to stand up for yourself and your beliefs. His dad taking so long to say anything was stressing me out lol. He didn't let anyone see his face. I think maybe he realized he's been looking at Ryan all wrong and wants time to think and rearrange his perception? At least I hope. Or maybe I'm wrong and he's just emotionally closed off and decided to let mom handle it once he realized things were ok. Now maybe current Ryan will have a breakthrough about his own self perception. Also Ryan's hot when he's pissed. 🔥
