Direction Moving Forward (Round-table Discussion)

I was working on finishing Butterfly Bay until 3am, and I had a moment of possible revelation. I found myself wanting, and this is pretty usual, to get really in-depth into each scene instead of moving the story along. I feel that I come up with some pretty erotic and high-potential scenes that get glossed-over because I'm trying to move things quickly because of cost and time constraints in an attempt to get to the end of the story arc.
Wondering if that's not a mistake. Wondering if I should slow down, spend more time on each scene, and release more content more often that isn't 25 minutes in length. It seems like my sites and subscribers lose momentum when I go weeks between a sizeable upload, and I don't blame them at all.
So, here's what I'm proposing would look like. For example, in BB Day 1 I would spend more time on the intimate scene with Aly and the shower scene between Aly and Steph. Just those two scenes, if I did them properly, could be 6-minute scenes on their own. I've got some of this in Day 3, where I string multiple shots together to make more of a real "scene" feel and I really like it.
Thoughts? I'll post this in my discord too and ask the community. So far I've have pretty spotty luck with getting more than a few people to open conversation, but I'd legitimately like some feedback here. I understand that each of you may be here for different reasons, but that's why it's important to get as much feedback as possible.

It’s possible, but it looks like absolute dog water. Believe me, there’s nothing I would rather do than a harem BJ scene given the subject matter, but the tech just isn’t there yet. It can be done using VFX, but I never learned to animate that so am limited to AI video. Even if I knew how I probably wouldn’t, because even creating a harem scene STILL in VFX takes an eternity. Anything you see right now that’s anything more than 1on1 is usually VFX. Even the models that can be run locally and are therefore “uncensored” are still censored, because the model itself isn’t trained on the NSFW stuff, so when you ask it to do it fiasco ensues. I am watching this stuff literally daily, obsessing over YouTube creators and testing out models. But the truth is there isn’t a platform out there yet that does true, consistent, HQ NSFW for more than 1on1, maaaaaaaybe 2on1 if the AI gods are feeling generous. If you guys happen upon one please let me know, but almost always if you see a good one it’s a fluke.

2025-09-03 05:52:53 +0000 UTCYeah, that's the exact direction I'm leaning as well. Butterfly Bay taught me so many lessons. One of the biggest was that not only do I need to release something substantial once a month at least for my followers, but for myself. I start to stagnate after working on something for more than a couple of weeks, and my process slows. That's why I broke BB up into three days at the end and released them separately. I'm toying with the idea of releasing almost all my content for free, because I spent SO many hours making it and remaking it trying to increase the quality, that I feel like it's a real shame to only have it be accessible to my roughly 60 paid followers. Then there's the marketing piece, where I firmly believe that those 60 followers could turn into 120 followers if I didn't put my best stuff behind a paywall, but then what would incentivize you guys to stay subscribed? Just wanting to support me? Maybe. It's all rather uncharted.
