Health, Touring, and Album Update ❤️

Dear Friends,

After seeing four different doctors in the hope of finding a solution for increasing neurological issues and pain throughout my body, I was recently diagnosed with Lyme disease.

While this was a bit of a shock, it has been a huge relief to have a diagnosis and to be working with a doctor who specializes in, not only treating, but curing this condition.

At the end of June, I started a 6 month treatment protocol, and I’m very happy to report that, after one month, I’m already beginning to see an improvement in my symptoms.

Lord willing, I hope to make a full recovery by January next year.

There is a possibility that my immune system may have sustained permanent damage because we caught the infection so late, and in order to give myself the best chance of making a full recovery, I’ve decided to postpone my Colorado tour until the spring of 2025.

In the meantime, I am so excited to be experiencing a very welcome wave of inspiration for the next record. Having something to dive into during my recovery is a huge blessing, and I’m excited to share three new songs with you next week and start the first phase of recording in September!

I can’t thank you enough for continuing on this creative journey with me, especially as I work towards healing my body and brain.

During this strange and unexpected turn in the road, your encouragement and support mean more than you know.

Sending extra big hugs from Colorado.

Love,

Eva

I'm happy that you know the diagnosis and a possible treatment - best is that it works and makes you already feel better. For me this is time to remember how many lives you make better with your presence and your music. Never forget that! I am rich because knowing you! Hugs from Germany to lovely Colorado, which I hope to see again next year. I would not have seen it last year without your suggestion to go there on out trip

Eva I am sorry to hear about your Lyme disease..I pray for your recovery! I’d like to share my own experience with a chronic illness. I too am a musician. I have played professionally since 1980 in all sorts of bands.. mostly hard rock, pop, etc. in 1993 I was accepted to Smith College to their BA music degree program. A month into Fall Semester, I became so ill I couldn’t dress myself. I hurt all over and couldn’t play my guitar. Let alone go to classes. I was finally diagnosed with Hepatitis C (new virus for 1993) and was told I could very well die from it..I had to drop out of school and for 6 years I sought out every thing I could to get better. Chinese herbs, acupuncture, no alcohol, etc. I finally found a liver specialist who put me on interferon (an injectioned drug taken every other night) and slowly I got better. Eventually I went back to school, graduated and then went on to Hartt school of music for my graduate degree….30 years later I am thriving and playing in a great power trio...it’s all about getting enough rest. Eating well. And a knowing that all will be well and the creator did not put you here with your beautiful amazing gifts to have you not be able to use them. It sounds like your down a great path to healing finally! I am sending you all the best vibes and love for your continued healing! Take care and rest yourself!❤️god bless you!!
