Eva! Happy New Year to you! There is a big need to thank you back for so many things! First for creating and playing your music and interpretations of other ones (like e.g. Halsway Carol) which I love. Then there are the tuesdays and the community there, that is always great for me and you create moments full of peace in that sessions. And when I told you that I plan a tour through the USA your suggestion was "do also come to Colorado" (which was not initially on our planned route). THANK YOU for that! We had such great times in Colorado and fell in love with that state. We had beautiful nature, a house concert in Denver )by my friend Carolyn Shulman) and that coffee in Loveland which I will never forget. So you created happy memories in my/our lives and I'm so very thankful to you. So please keep doing what you do - we keep enjoying, appreciating and supporting whenever we can. The world (especially my world) is richer because of you!

Hello Karen! Oh man, Cafe Lena sounds wonderful, I love NY, and I've been dying to get back that way. Girl, I feel you on the tight throat business... it still happens to me when I get nervous. Probably the biggest thing that has helped me is really practicing relaxation when I practice. Softening the facial muscles 9face yoga can be really helpful for this!), very consciously letting go of the stomach (that's a huge one for me) and making sure I'm not over breathing! It doesn't take anymore air to sing than it does to speak, surprisingly, and that knowledge has helped me a lot because I over breath whenever I'm nervous. Gentle lip buzzes and a small shot of whiskey always helped when I used to drink... Just enough to help relax and not to over think things, too much can definitely hinder hearing and execution. Have as much fun as possible, and do everything you can to relax. I've also noticed when I cherish my voice and accept it where it's at, that seems to help me offer up a more natural performance. I'm excited for you! What a beautiful opportunity to capture a moment in your story as a creator :) Please let me know how it goes!

Your mother sounds like a very wise woman. It's comforting to hear that other artists have multiple pieces going at the same time as well!

Happy New Year Jacob!

Happy New Year to you also! Can't wait for you to drop the new album officially. If you tour in the East US, PLEASE come to Caffe Lena in Saratoga Springs, NY. You will be so warmly greeted and I'm certain the house will be packed to see you. PS any little tricks or tips for warming up your voice before recording (or performing)? I'm recording my first demos of songs and when I get nervous, my throat tightens and Kermit starts to peak through. :( Bright blessings to you!

I'm looking forward to what you share with us this year. I know it's going to be amazing. As you were talking about finishing songs, I was reminded of what my mother who was a painter said about her paintings. "A painting is never completely done. There's always one more change you can make." She always had multiple pieces in various stages around her studio.

John DeJarnatt

Yay!🌹

Happy New Year to y'all as well! Hope the tour goes well!🙂 come to Eastern North Carolina!!

Stephen White

How do you finish those songs? With "shave and a haircut ... two bits!" Just kidding. Have fun with your ongoing creative process, my talented friend.
