I've been reorganizing my creative space and giving it a full makeover as I prepare to turn it into the pre-production studio for the album. In the process of cleansing, I remembered this song. This recording is from back in the Publisher era, when they would request different arrangements or recordings of songs to fit their pitching needs for film and TV. I wanted to share it with you all because it was never released, though, I've always felt it showed a color of the song that was missed in the original recording.

2025-02-05 23:01:15 +0000 UTCLove the accapella intro! I just had to go back and listen to the album version. I miss your mandolin on this version, but I do like the extra BG vocals on this version. The big synth lines in this version add to the ominous feel quite a bit. The album version is more 'SHEL' though musically. Love this alternate take.
