hello! (back so soon)

since i decided i would start blogging on here, i will try my best to bring daily updates and share little bits of myself that i don’t reveal as much anymore.

in the past year my twitter account has grown a lot, honestly i never expected even 100 followers, never thought of 1000 or more. before my current account, i never really had an online presence or anything, i had many attempts through various fandoms i was in but it never seemed to stick. probably my biggest one was an old “aesthetic” instagram account dedicated to my favorite kpop group, BTS. i also tried youtube when i was way too young to understand algorithms and internet “fame”, by filming myself playing with toys (especially ponies) and uploading it through my old tablet.

currently i am juggling my twitter account and a cosplay instagram account, where i have similar but still different audiences. cosplay has been a passion of mine before i even knew the word itself. like any child growing up in a fairly normal environment, i used to play pretend. my parents told me i frequently wore a red power ranger costume and ran around completely becoming the character with every fiber of my being (i was dedicated to my craft). as i got a little older i was much more aware but still played around whenever i had the chance, acting as Princess Celestia’s faithful student, Twilight Sparkle. She was my favorite pony growing up, her and Fluttershy (maybe Rainbow Dash too).

then one faithful day, a friend from school introduced me to anime, i remember being 11 years old at the time. my first anime i watched purposefully was “Diabolik Lovers”. looking back at it, it’s not very good, but it’s an entertaining watch and a nostalgic one at that. then came many more series.

from there, my first official cosplay was Saya, one i actually felt proud of. i will make another post detailing my discovery of Saya no Uta and how i grew to love it so much another time, this one is already getting quite lenghty.

i hope i didn’t bore you to death with my tales u_u i tried my best to be concise, but memories (of the few that i have left of my childhood) kept flooding back.

i should probably go to bed now, it’s 11:56 AM and i’ve been up a solid 22 hours i think. a little nap won’t do me harm!
