The reason the boy is melancholic is cause he's got a tiger mom lol. She's literally forcing him to study 24 7 and give up on any relationships. Parents have a lot more power over their kids in Asian countries. That's why suicide rates in Japan is the highest in the world. When you said, "will you shut up, I know you're hungry", I thought you were talking to me for a second. I'm like, "damn Queen, what'd I do?"
