patreon subscription issue

Everyone, many of patrons still keep informing me that they had or having trouble with patreon subscription: it was showing an error that their payment was processing and they couldn't see my content.

This is only a small part of reports about the same issue, just to see how big the problem is.

More than hundred of members had to cancel and rejoin again just because they had no access to my posts due to some unknown technical issue on patreon itself. This caused my earnings to drop and I've been trying to reach patreon support team to address this issue still no proper answer from them, but I will try again to submit a ticket "I am a creator and I need support > My members can't access my content" to https://support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

So if anyone has trouble with patreon subscription, the only thing I can suggest is cancel the pledge/subscription and rejoin again. 

Of course, the cancellation will result in further earnings drop for my page, yes, this issue is affecting me as well, but I don't want any of supporters to be locked out of my content, so it's the only thing you can do for now.

I am truly sorry that this platform is causing inconvenience for both creators and members. I hope it will get resolved.

I had to cancel my subscription and resubscribe again. It worked for a 2 weeks and it doesn’t work again.

I had issue with payment, so couldn't see locked content. It took a couple of weeks but now have access again, they seem to have fixed it. Hope other members get there issues sorted too. You are an amazing artist x

I had issues with my membership as well. I ended up going online (not thru the app) and changing my membership to annual thru the website. Hopefully, that fixes things - I wasn’t able to see any posts and was a “supporter level”. Sorry you are having these issues as a content creator.

My issue is that I paid for hard stan at $118 yearly, but I still see some artwork that's blurred out and says I need to subscribe to see those. .

FINALLY heard back from Patreon Support (I messaged them on Oct 6, it's now Oct 14.....) The email stated I have an "Active Subscription" (duh - I rejoined), and "Additionally, I don't see any information about a pending payment. The billing shows that your payment has since gone through successfully so you should have access to your creator’s member-only content for your Tier. " Yeah, it went through when I cancelled/rejoined on the 8th (it froze in "payment processing" on the 2nd). Not sure why they can't see how long it took to process or my cancel/rejoin activity... but I digress. If it's taking them over a week to get back to people, I can see how it would really hurt the creators. I'm sorry it's such a cluster.

Thanks for the guidance. I had the same issue. Contacted Patreon support but no-one came back to me. Have cancelled and rejoined with annual membership. Was panicking big time at the thought of not being able to access your content and immeasurable talent particularly with next instalment of MOO due! Best wishes 💜

FWIW, I tried letting you know about this issue, messaging you here, Twitter, and IG, but never got a reply. Glad a work around has been found but it really sucks how badly it affects your bottom line!
