Last track down~
Added 2025-06-09 01:58:00 +0000 UTCWe laid the last track for the album this week (it needed a re-do). Officially down to the straight up mixing stage, and the tracks are sounding really good. I can't wait to share them with y'all. We'll be running a kickstarter during the month of July in hopes to cover some of the costs of getting a CD & artbook/zine insert printed, paying our wonderful audio collaborators, and travel for our tour (we will be in Juneau, Ketchikan, Anchorage, and Talkeetna in August--more details to come as they get nailed down. We are definitely playing at the Alaskan Hotel in Juneau on August 8th with a band from Denver called Wife Swap. The rest of the details are still a little wishy-washy.
These pictures are of me recording the guitar for Coagula--"Ugh what if I just tried this one sitting down??" I forgot I still had to press buttons with my feet, but it worked out. We got a great take.

We've been working super hard to make these tracks as dope as possible, so I'm excited to share them too! Machine will always feel naked without your lyrics. Maybe we can re-release with a collab angle for the next project. We almost called this one "A Horse By Comittee" but decided to save that for one of those albums that has a different "feat.." sub-attribution for every song. I think of our too-short lived jams in my tiny apartment often, filling a bowl with slips of paper for freestyle lyrical charades. You are a master of your craft, my friend.
