I want to give a massive thank-you to all the members of my Patreon who have backed my 'Zine Storage Box Kickstarter campaign, I am so happy to have met and exceeded my funding goal, and so many of you here are responsible for making that happen. I really appreciate it!
Since I quickly hit the number I needed to hit to make this idea into a reality, I've been working on improving the designs of the two boxes to get them ready for actual production. These are still somewhat works in progress, but are getting much closer to what I think will be their final forms.
There's one-week left to pledge, so if you'd like one of these boxes, along with a number of extras (more about that below), you still have plenty of time to get on board.
A Love Letter to Self-Publishing

This is how the primary box is now looking. I got some feedback about the initial mockup being a little too busy and messy which I took to heart. I am much happier with the cleaner direction this has headed in, leaning further in to the Marvel 25th Anniversary cover design and paring down the color palette. The back of the box will feature a lot more of my favorite cartoon characters from the world of indie and small-press comics, just because I really enjoy drawing them!

The Official FUN-TIME Box

Still tinkering with the front of this, but it's getting closer to where I want it to be. The sides are still works in progress, as they will feature some small autobio comics, as will the backside of the box. I'm really excited to have these, as I intend to make my way to a lot more conferences and conventions next year, and think this is going to be a very cool and fun way to package up all of my FUN TIME minis.
Bonus Minicomic!!
I don't have an image yet to share, but have decided to create an all-new exclusive minicomic to ship with the boxes. This will be in addition to the Self-Publishing is a Power print and a copy of my 24-page, full color minicomic, A Part, Apart, which will also be included with every box. If I've got boxes, I might as well fill them with things!

Thank-you again for the support, I'll be back towards the end of the week with an update about this month's mini which I think I should be getting back from the printer's soon.

Your friend,
Mike
