[Mod] Functional Mobile - Cell Phone as an Independent Object - a Sims 4 Mod

IF YOU WANT TO TRY THIS OUT, you need the Toolbox version 1.179.6 or more recent.
Make sure to remove any previous version of it that you might have.

REGARDING PHONE RE-TEXTURES AND REMODELS

• Compatible BUT you must do one thing:

• If you are using any CC / mod that re-models the VISUALS of the game's phone object,
  DO NOT put the file "Lumpinou_FunctionalMobilePhone_Model_REMOVE_IF_USING_RECOLOR" in your Mods folder.

  • Why? This file overrides the phone model to make the default state look like a "screen off" phone.
    CC mods that remodel the visuals of the phone object also override this model. So,
    LEAVE OUT THIS FILE if you use these types of CC.

    • It's FINE to! This mod will still work perfectly! The only difference will be the phone might not have a "screen off" look while not in use, depending on what remodel of the phone object you're using.

      • AND: CC makers: if you wish, you can integrate for the "screen off" look, so that your cc has it and then this mod can call to it. It's easy. I put 🔗instructions in the mod's description page for any phone re-modeller interested.

DOWNLOAD & Installation:

1 - remove files from previous versions, if any

2 - REQUIRED: Lumpinou's Toolbox Library-Mod, version 1.179.6 or more recent. Put it into your mods folder or one subfolder, NO DEEPER.

3 - extract the zip file below and grab the extracted .package file(s), and put them into your mods folder or one subfolder.

• The main file s,"FunctionalMobilePhone" and "FunctionalMobilePhone_Charger", are necessary.

• The two "Landline" files are optional

• The file with "model" in the name is optional for compatibility reasons, read more about it in compatibility section).
