[MOD] (per Request) Lovestruck: NO Romantic Satisfaction / System Triggers Only By Player Choice

Do not use this if you use my "-Lovestruck: Romantic Satisfaction Metric Only for Officially Committed Relationships". It's EITHER / OR, pick whichever you prefer but not both.
If you don't like the Romantic Satisfaction feature, this is the mod for you.
This mod makes it so that the romantic satisfaction system NEVER adds itself automatically to Sims' relationships.
Effectively, it's a "soft disable" of the feature.
You can STILL manually add Romantic Satisfaction to whichever Sims you choose.
How to manually add "romantic satisfaction" to two Sims:
Use the cheats provided in my "Sim Info Manager" mod
This is an Override of 362249_loot_RelSat_AddRelSat_ActorandTarget and 376541 loot_RelSat_AddRelSat_FromRelationshipStart_ActorandTarget
DOWNLOAD & Installation:
1 - remove files from previous versions, if any
2 - grab the .package file for the mod (link below), and put it into your mods folder or one subfolder.

Hi, it doesn't force remove it from existing Sims but you can manually do that if you want with my Sim Info Manager

2025-04-08 00:35:04 +0000 UTCmaybe i've overlooked the instructions, but how do you enable it? i just placed the mod but my couple still has romantic satisfaction listed. is it only for new couples? its one folder deep in my mods folder with the rest of your mods that are working.

2024-08-15 17:54:33 +0000 UTCHi, basically no, since I update mods constantly and have four dozens of them, maintening an all in one file for all of it would be too time consuming and prone to error. RPO Collection is available in one download, and for a week after big patches that break a lot of stuff I also have an archive of all updated stuff for Patrons, but otherwise it's one by one

2024-08-05 14:35:38 +0000 UTCIf the romantic satisfaction is what is bothering you - indeed EA doesn't give us ways to turn it off, but this mod will indeed stop it from becoming a factor in your sim's relationships. If you have Sims who already have it, it won't remove it from them, but you can remove it manually with the cheats shown above

2024-08-05 13:40:05 +0000 UTCHmm it sure sounds annoying! Are you talking about satisfaction or attraction? Those being two separate systems. Attraction levels only change when something big about the sim changes (personality traits and such). Satisfaction changes more constantly What do the messages you are seeing say exactly?

2024-08-05 13:39:50 +0000 UTCOne moment they love each other, even my married sims, the next they are no longer attracted. The friendship and love bar goes up and down. If you are not constantly playing in a romantic way and that’s all you do they lose interest, satisfaction and are no longer attracted.

2024-08-05 13:29:35 +0000 UTCThis may be a stupid question but, does this take away the constant attraction gain and loss every few minutes? I really wish there was a way to disable the attraction system part of the game. It says there is and you can select disable but that does not work.
