Things that occur to me : 1. Angel could easily have snapped Wes's neck before anyone got to him. 2. He could have easily fought off the two guys that dragged him out of the room. It makes me believe he had no intention of killing Wes. He just needed to vent, which included needing Wes to think he was about to die.

Seeing you know something was wrong with how Angel spoke to Wes contrasts those that watch it expecting it to imply he would forgive, and it’s fantastic to see these thoughts go through you. Can’t wait for more!
