Thanks Cami! When I first suggested it I thought, the film is kind of introverted and quiet in a way. But it does point out this ridiculous two faced British thing with class, normality, toeing the line. Lawrence of Arabia was like that. The four feathers. Youβll see it everywhere. A man who shorted the war by 2 years and saved millions of lives committed suicidal because he didnβt fit. Thanks for understanding. Iβm not sure whether I am sad. Iβm torn between anger at the way he was treated annd anger that after years of fighting against fascism and far right ideals, too many people are asleep at the wheel. I think that makes the film more relevant than it should be. It should only be a very well done historic movie it should not have such a direct relevance to now. Thanks h7n. Thanks for the reaction!
