Not that weights isn’t bad for you and it does create and maintain bone density…. the biggest predictor of longevity, according to a lot of evidence based scientific research studies, is VO2 max! The higher your VO2 max is consistent over the years, the higher your life expectancy is. That means hitting those higher cardiac zones more often and frequently, such as, hiit training. Have you ever seen a marathon runner or tri athlete overweight and not live long (excluding accidents or trauma). They are super healthy with a resting heart rate of 40 because their cardiac output and gas exchange (O2 & CO2) is extremely efficient. Great episode and a lot to consider.

This is fantastic. I’ve listened a couple times. Since it’s my line of work, I’d love to hear Gary’s thoughts on everything he said with the added layer of things like limitations of matter. The one I devote my career to is craniofacial development/ mouth breathing/ oral ties/ deep front line fascia tension/ sleep disordered breathing. I’m going to be implementing much of what I heard on the show. I’ve been recommending methylated nutrients for years and I felt like I was an island. (Especially MTHFR and fetal development). In addition to opening the airways of kids with ADHD (which has been extremely powerful) I’m eager to make nutritional suggestions. Thank you for that! Collaboration is so powerful!
