Chris you are an inspiration. I cried and laughed but in the end you brought so much understanding to life after combat for me. Shawn thank you for sharing! Great episode!

Pilot CW2 Mr. Roger’s in my unit C/3/227 created and implemented the procedure for a downed aircraft pilot during desert storm. He was a former PJ. He later joined the 160th. So If you were shot down, another Apache could pick you up. All pilots would wear a D ring on their kit to connect to the handle which was just forwarded of the transmission bay. You would sit on the wing and put your feet on the forward avionics bay. You sat right in front of the engine. Must be hell of a ride. I’m so happy to hear the procedure saved a life.

Best interview ever. I’m this guy as a person. He needs to seek a leadership position in this country.

First episode i zoned out l, due to to much ranting during a question, live the show saved my life but I felt this episode couldn't capture my attention like passed episodes

I'm assuming Shawn won't see this, but he should interview Ed Macy, author of Apache (a non fiction work)- or one of the crews that were involved in the rescue of LCpl Matthew Ford, Royal Marine. Amazing frigging story, despite how that whole war is viewed now- a truly inspirational story. The first Military Cross ever issued to Army Air Corps personnel and awarded in person by her majesty The Queen.
