I say this as someone who was diagnosed with childhood ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, etc., early on in life. When we are present and in the moment grateful for what's right in front of us, the dopamine highs are a natural byproduct. But if we are not content with our life, we will struggle with dissatisfaction and lack of joy. Matthew 5-7 comes to mind. Also Philippians 4:11-13.
