In my opinion if we accept a central cryto currency it will be the point of no return. If you really look into even bitcoin not good. From before covid worldwide cash is being done away with. Remember the adds PayPal the new cash. During covid, use contactless cards who's limits went from roughly 25 to 100 sterling. And don't know about anyone else but I always tap it off machine. I always remember a teacher years ago going biccies because he couldn't be paid in cash it had to be direct debit, and saying this is the start of 1984 you'll see. At time thought he was batshit crazy but he was right. Also a bit batshit crazy. This will be total control. Sweden already has had chips in hands. For years. Instead of someone stealing wallet it will be chop the hand off. Or hack the chip. It will lead to 15 minute cities, a China like credit system etc etc. Maybe I'm bad shit crazy. I have a reasonable grasp of the fractile banking system and is far from right. But what's being talked about here will be a turning point in complete control. Which we have all slept walked into, through mobiles, doorbell cameras, Alexa etc etc etc. The browser duckduckgo was mentioned. I use this. This will be a bit of a pain to read. But my banking app 2 days ago 382 tracking attempts were blocked by duckduckgo. From Adobe. Wanting to collect App version Cookies(passwords and a lot more in there) Advertising id Device model Email address Device brand Network connection type Postal code Unique identifier Country Device language Device orientation App name App install date Os version Timezone Network carrier Os build number GPS coordinates Screen resolution That's 1 app 10,288 tracking attempts blocked across 6 apps in last seven days Google, branch metrics, urban airship Adobe are but a few. Great program, great guest.

The world bank gets control. You guys really need John Perkins on the show for counter points.

I’m excited to see the conversation shift to web3/blockchain/crypto. Many in the world do not understand or see the potential in blockchain technologies and decentralization or the positives/transparency that it can provide. Many see crypto as simply a financial tool, but so many use case can be derived via the blockchain. Exciting times ahead!!!

Interesting that Biden just pledged billons to the World Bank. When does his power to give our money away end? He is deliberately trying to sabotage President Trump.

Denise Mercer

It's becoming clearer that politicians (mostly democrats) from the late 90s to now were selling us out to the Chinese

Kevin McDermott

Crypto is our new global currency system and so much more. Surprisingly its not just money. Trump and Elon are talking about it almost daily, trying to prepare America for the new reality. It's here to stay. Cryptocurrency, blockchain technology has evolved the past 10 years. Just like computers and software did back in the 90's and early 2000's. Recently ive shifted a bit of my extra money into what I believe will be dominant forward thinking crypto projects. Maybe Shawn can bring on someone to do a deeper dive into what exactly blockchain is and how crypto works??

Tina

My thoughts exactly - he needs to be connected with this new administration. He's brilliant! Thanks again for an excellent interview!

Daniel Young

Great show Shawn. You should get Erik hooked up with President Trump to help his Administration. Thank you for all your showsπŸ‘πŸ˜Ž

This was so interesting. He definitely has lived the American dream. I wish I understood the crypto market better. Trump was 100% correct on China. The next few years will be a challenge. I am with Shawn about gold. Wish I had bought more when it was cheaper.

Denise Mercer

I can appreciate the information with in this interview, but listening to your guest say that if he went to community college he wouldn't have ever become anything, it was a bit condescending. Some of the best people I know and some of the most successful people I know started out going to community college.
