2024-10-31 20:44:33 +0000 UTCPraying for your strength and self support through this time. One part of your message that I don’t quite understand is the reference to Wayne. In the passport, does that mean you are referencing him as a spirit guide?

2024-10-25 17:09:21 +0000 UTCWe can trace the founding of the Church being passed to Peter in Matthew 16:18 "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." The Catholic Church was just called "the Church", it didn't get its name till ~A.D. 107, a bishop, St. Ignatius of Antioch in the Near East, was arrested, brought to Rome and eventually martyred there in the arena. In a farewell letter to Christians in Smyrna he first mentioned "the Catholic Church". The Church has an unbroken line of succession in laying on of the hands from the Apostles to each and every bishop (and technically priests then), in that each succeeding bishop has the hands laid on his head in a blessing from a previous bishop...this would include the pope then. There have been many questionable things/popes (including our current one who many are not a fan of). But that is one facet to the Apostles starting the Church (it was Jesus/God really). Every Christian denomination that came after can look to the many martyrs that died to continue the faith...Regarding the Eucharist, Catholics believe in the real presence (body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus in the form [looks like, tastes like] bread and wine)...the faith has wavered in this in recent decades as we have gotten away from the respect and in understanding what we are or Whom rather...Jesus. I began receiving kneeling, on the tongue a few years ago when I realized more of what the Eucharist is - how it was done pre 1962 (Vatican II)...in part with reading what demons have said about communion in the hand and first hand accounts and witnessing people try to steal the Blessed Sacrament (https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/lwptbxi9csmaugbh3x7gk/72679698-Transcript-of-Anneliese-Michel-Exorcism.txt?rlkey=cbcfzq3k8x4q25mnb82734vwf&dl=0). "Reenacting this meal" implies that as hard as one tries it is a copy, not the original...the Catholic tradition is that it is the continuation...we can look at God being omnipresent (in time too)...perhaps our participation is at the same time as the upper room. In all humility, I'm not sure I'll ever understand it, I try to, but it helps to be open...but the most important part is to have childlike faith.

2024-10-25 15:19:36 +0000 UTCSaying that protestants broke away and don’t follow the last supper covenant is just false. Please show me where in the gospel it says that the apostles, started the Catholic Church and told everyone they had to go to mass or they are doing it wrong. I recommend have Marty Solomon from the Bema podcast to really give you more context of first century Judaism. Ive been to many different denominations and they all interpret the covenant in different ways. If you actually go back to what the apostles at that time understood what a covenant is. Here’s a better understanding. “But to the Greek and Hebrew mind of the first century, “remember” described something totally different. First, it was not only a mental activity, a “thinking about” a past event, but an activity of the whole person—spirit, mind, emotion, and body.” “Second, it meant to do the past event, not merely to think about it. To remember meant to re-create the past event, bringing it into the present moment by reenacting it, employing rituals and symbols to do so. Third, to remember meant that the persons remembering totally identified with and participated in all the powers and effects of the original event. Every year the people of God in the Old Testament “remembered” their deliverance from Egypt in exactly this fashion, reenacting it in the Passover meal.” “It might help us to understand the two ways of thinking by using a wedding as an example. If I were to say to a Western couple, “Let’s remember your wedding,” the response would be a mental reconstruction of the event, groping through memories for the guest list, the minister who performed the ceremony, what happened at the celebration afterward, and so on. If I said the same thing to any couple of the New Testament days, the response would be “Let’s do it!” It would be the only response they would be capable of making, for remembering to them was a matter of doing, not only thinking. They would go back to the synagogue where they had been married or one that was much the same, try to find the rabbi who had married them, and invite as many of the guests who had been there as possible. If the original guests were not available, the couple’s present friends would be able to join right in because in this remembering one did not have to be at the original event; it would be re-created in rite and symbol. Of course, the couple would not get married a second time, but the original vows would be renewed with a new depth and mature love; all the powers of the original wedding would be present at this reenactment and renewal. Thus, we see that Jesus was saying, “Reenact this meal; do it again. In whatever moment of time you are, this moment will be present to you; you will be here at the ratification of the new covenant and immediately present to Me, the Mediator of the new covenant.” Excerpt From The Power of the Blood Covenant Malcolm Smith https://books.apple.com/us/book/the-power-of-the-blood-covenant/id449254879 This material may be protected by copyright.

2024-10-25 14:08:21 +0000 UTCits not that they wont, they cant. dude universal law requires consent of both souls. the one needs to WANT to be saved. and what if that person that requires saving, because they possess a favorable quality, is too burdened to want to be saved... the question, if i may reframe it, is HOW DO WE GET SOMEONE TO HAVE FAITH IN GOD WHOM HAS TRUSTED AND RESIGNED TO THE (DEMONS)? :(

2024-10-24 23:23:59 +0000 UTCIs it true the Catholic Church won’t do an exorcism on people who have no faith? Just curious!

2024-10-23 21:34:09 +0000 UTCWent through an Alpha weekend away, primarily dealing with the Holy Spirit. Advocate was a word used to describe him as well @Sandrab. Anxious to see after he mentioned drugs opening a path to demons if there is talk of the south of the border ptsd treatment center.

2024-10-23 17:44:05 +0000 UTCHis description of being hurt by religion was the best I’ve ever heard in laymen’s terms. There is much said in the Bible about this but I appreciate his description. TY

2024-10-23 17:23:45 +0000 UTCSRS. I would like to see another religious option for reference. I have been raised to believe when Jesus died on the cross, a priest is no longer needed for confession (New Testament vs old) when we accept Christ as savior, we then have an advocate with the father meaning we can reach The trinity (God the father, son and Jesus Christ) our selves. The Baptist faith. I don’t confess to a priest, I confess straight to God. Please consider. I believe everyone has the ability to be a child of God as long as they confess and do not deny HE IS THE CHRIST. TIA 🙏🏻🇺🇸😊🙌🏻
