I strongly disagree with this guy!God’s hand is in everything…good or bad…everything happens with God’s blessings. If Trumps only changes some foreign/domestic policies that are badly effected on us that is already somewhat saving us.Imagine just participating in the negotiations to end (our proxy) wars!That is already saving us!Financially and morally!So this guy is wrong!

These two talked about the community helping raise the kids, it’s true, what happened to us? I’m talking about the men of the village, the school bus driver, the baseball coach, the city council members, the teachers, the coaches at the school, the police, the pastors, we had men in the town that I grew up in that would straighten you out. All of these men knew each other and talked often. They wouldn’t do your parents job, but your parents would sure hear about your behavior and there was none of this, hey, leave my kid alone because the men of the village worked together. I remember a family that was very poor and they had a child who was crippled. We weren’t rich either, it was a farming community and opportunities were scarce. This young boy who was cripple, wasn’t being taken care of and would come to school filthy. One of the teachers, took him home, fed him and he and his wife cleaned him up and got some new clothes for him. The teacher took the kid home, all cleaned up and had a conversation with his father, a serious conversation. My father would also pick this kid up on the school bus and he had a serious conversation with the father also, things started to change for that young man, because men who weren’t sheep got themselves involved. That’s what we’re missing, if you got into a fight and one of the men from the village was driving by, they would pull over and stop the fight. I witnessed stuff like this everyday, men being men and acting like men. That’s what we’re missing. Great conversation, some troubling facts mentioned here, but the truth isn’t necessarily fun to hear. Great pod cast.
