HenchWench: Bane
Added 2024-02-16 13:00:11 +0000 UTCI apologize for no shaded version of this on release, we're doing our best to catch up on the backlog these Batman sequences are the most complex artwise and so take the longest time to do.
Bane was tied 5th place in the poll (For the record Harley was 1st). I'm not a huge muscle mommy fan but honestly I think this design came out super hot regardless. Flash's thoughts below:
I knew I was going to use Venom as the change agent but the Amazonian blood idea ocurred to me as I was writing the change. The idea of Venom supercharging the Amazonian dominance to literally 'destroy Batman's maleness' was a cool idea I felt that sort of sounded like a semi-plausible comic concept.
The boots kind of have a WW design to them so maybe thats what inspired me. I leave it up to your imagination who comes out on top between these two in the end. This is probably one of, if not the only sequence in this series where Batman doesn't become a clear subordinate (though that was Bane's intention.) Btw I didn't write in Bane's accent just because its sort of inconsistent in comics I've read and I'd worry it would come across corny or offensive if I did.

They will. Unfortunately we fell behind on shading near the start of this year and so many of these sequences had to be pushed back in our shading queue but we’ve almost caught up it’s just these Batman ones that need doing.
