While I really enjoy Jordan Peterson, I feel like he was talking at SR instead of having a more organic conversation, which is much more enjoyable to watch. .. and while Sean is an excellent listener and antes the questions well, either the editing was heavy or Peterson didn’t stop to take a breath or lesson in himself 😅 I’d be curious to know what it was like interviewing him (really) and what he was really like in person

Shawn, Thanks for getting the truth out there. I have a small YT channel called A Very Small Picture of a Very Big God. I posted a video response to Dr. Peterson after your amazing interview with him. I am a huge fan of Dr. Peterson, but I disagree with him on this aspect of following Jesus. https://youtu.be/-puUrI6-lkk?si=yL76Fq_yGceiKSko I thought you might find it interesting and I'd be stoked if you'd check it out.

Amazing interview. Really appreciate his direct and succinct points of view.

Wish I had heard all of this repeatedly beginning at about puberty!

My understanding on your question, is that a father is a monster who's in control of himself and sacrifices everything he has for his family and people around him, including not giving into his temptations to go outside of the bounds of the family and community he has been given. It is a very hard thing to do because there is so much distraction, and men are basically told to not be men. I tell my son regularly to be the warrior in the garden, not the gardener in the war. Don't start the fight but be ready to finish it in all aspects of life physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Hope that helps?

What an impact full episode! Definitely explains so much as to why we loose so many to suicide... Got me thinking I may need to fix myself. At 1:48:39 he described me... Excellent Episode!

Another amazing interview !

Wow. Powerful interview. I read about the term 'normalized deviance' coined by an airforce colonel and how it happens. This interview goes to the core. It's easy to look around and see how dishonesty prevails around us ... but, take that same measure of honesty and truth and look at oneself ... the real journey begins.

I hope to follow through
