September 2025 - Hook'd Up

This month, work continues on the Chinook. The research phase is still going well but I am not quite where I want to be. There are still many things I want to learn about, mainly because I think it's such an interesting and unique kind of machine. Overall, I'm having fun with it and taking my time rather than rush through it.
I think a slower-paced kind of project will help me recover from the days of the Phantom and Strike Eagle. I have heard the community's plea to update the Hornet and Viper guides with their latests toys, but it will have to wait since these updates are in no way critical as of now.
In other news, Eagle Dynamics is starting to show previews for their MiG-29. While the sense of excitement for a proper high-fidelity REDFOR fighter is palpable, I am holding back from digging into it for now in order to stay focused on my current tasks. It's just so easy to flip-flop between things and lose efficiency in trying to do too many things at once.

So far the sniper pod is pretty low on my list of priorities. Maybe that'll change eventually...?
