July 2025 - Slow down, buckaroo!
Added 2025-07-11 10:00:15 +0000 UTCHi folks!
With the recent release of the F-4 Phantom II guide, I have reached an important milestone: the library has now more than 15,000 pages. I've been writing about flight sims since 2014, which sometimes feels like a lifetime ago. I don't think I ever expected things to snowball in such a big way. There is always a part of me that feels guilty about taking longer and longer to release anything, especially with the Phantom and Strike Eagle projects. However, staying independent and having some level of control over my own deadlines and priorities helps me stay grounded while striving for those ever more ambitious goals.
I want to thank you all for your patience and understanding. I treat this hobby as anything but a corporate rat race, and managing to still find meaning and enjoyment in all of this after more than 10 years is a testament to the success and viability of this philosophy.

The big question now... what next? First, some much needed R&R is in order. Then what?
Truth is... I'm still thinking about it. The MB-339, OH-58 Kiowa Warrior, CH-47 Chinook, F4U Corsair are all viable candidates, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to know which one to choose. We will also eventually have the MiG-29, F-100 Super Sabre and C-130 Hercules (which in all honesty I am much more excited about), but we have no release dates yet. Maybe the answer will come to me eventually, who knows?
Stay tuned!
Chuck

At this point the comunity owes you so much... Go for whatever you prefer; a break, the C-130, or whatever your heart asks for. I'm new at DCS, and without your guides, I don't know how could I play it. So I suppose I'm in debt with youš

PS: I wonder how big your guideās influences on the module sales are, personally I first counsult your guides when Iā m thinking about buying a module, for me its the best way to find out what to expect.
