The DCS Viper received a few new functionalities over the last few months. As I am combing through patch notes, I have to review huge chunks of the guide to make sure I'm not forgetting about new system logics.
For the navigation systems, the implementation of INS drift has posed a few interesting challenges for F-16 drivers. Dropping JDAMs is longer a done deal if the navigation system has accumulated significant amounts of drift in both position and altitude. The FIX (Navigation Fix) and ACAL (Altitude Calibration) DED pages allow you to re-align in-flight with a variety of sensors/methods at your disposal.
The CRUS (Cruise) and DEST (Destination) pages also bring cool new features to the table, such as creating of Offset Aimpoints (OAPs) and inputting steerpoint coordinates in MGRS format.
