May 2021 - Month of the Mighty MiG

This month, I have decided to perform a complete overhaul of the MiG-21 guide. There is a lot of work to be done, but I feel this is very much worth it. The Fishbed was one of my first DCS guides and I feel it is time I give it some love. Magnitude has kept improving their module for 5 years... and with DCS 2.7 live, we're in for quite a ride.
I plan to improve... well... pretty much everything. As I have flown the MiG-21 in DCS over the years, I have come to understand the airplane much better and I have gradually realized where I made mistakes and where I glossed over critical aspects of the plane. This new version will be prettier, more thorough and better structured than its current form. The biggest aspects to improve are the cockpit description, radar and weapon sections.

2021-05-14 11:30:07 +0000 UTCI fly the Hornet and Tomcat and this plane intimidates the hell out of me! OTOH, it is an outstanding module of a global icon, and when I am brave enough to give it a go, I relish the experience. Will be great to see your updated guide - thanks in advance!
