Let's talk about the APKWS (Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System) laser-guided rockets. Many DCS players have been waiting for this toy for a long time. Laser-guided rockets dramatically improve your accuracy, and the triple-racks allow you to carry an ungodly amount of these rockets. Two types of rockets are available: the M151L (high explosive warheads better used for soft targets) and the M282L (Armor Penetrator warheads, better used against tanks). With the addition of the APKWS to the mythical GAU-8 "Avenger" 30 mm gun, the A-10C II truly deserves his "Tank Killer" title.
