With Mavericks finally available, the Viper has become that much closer to being a proper multi-role aircraft. There are various ways to employ the AGM-65 which comes in four different flavors: the D, G, H and K variants. The F-16 gives you a lot of flexibility in ways to use these missiles. Each Maverick can be used either in Pre-Planned mode (with a targeting pod), Visual Mode or in Boresight Mode. We will also see the differences between a manual handoff and an automatic handoff when using Pre-Planned mode. Let's dig into this together, shall we?
