April/May 2025 Sketches 19 - Katsuki Bakugo (My Hero Academia)(Animation)

Here's a multi-scene animation featuring Katsuki Bakugo from My Hero Academia. The idea was suggested by Shin.

"Bakugo gets hit with a strange Quirk while on a mission that seemingly has no effect on him. After dispatching the Villain he heads back to the dorms and someone bumps into him, pissing him off. The sudden explosion of anger makes his body subtly grow larger though he doesn’t really notice. Once back at the dorm he discovers someone took his soda from the fridge, pissing him off again, the same effect as before happening. Throughout the day he keeps getting into situations that make him angry, each time causing his body to explode bigger and stronger. Eventually it gets to the point that he can’t help but notice the changes, appreciating the results. He decides to show off his new strength in front of the others and their amazed expressions fills him with a surge of pride… that also makes him grow! Turns out it’s not just explosive anger but any powerful emotion that activates this strange Quirk. Seeing no reason to stop he continues his feats, literally feeding on the attention from his colleagues until he grows too big to fit in the dorms, forcing his giant body outside… and in front of the awed faces of the populace, fueling his growth even more as his audience continues to grow with him, seemingly with no end in sight!"

1. Getting out of school, after the day of being hit by a strange Quirk, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Until he accidentally bumped into someone while walking down the park. The young blond immediatedly retaliating by shouting back at the person that pushed him...His body pulsing in size and heft without him noticing!

2. Finally arriving at the dorm, he just wanted to relax. He heads towards the fridge, having saved a specific drink to spend his friday...But it was nowhere to be seen, the drink was probably drunk by someone else...Making Bakugo even more furious. His body pulsing in size even fruther! His shirt barely being able to cover his massive back. He proceeds to slam the fridge's door shut, destroying it in the proccess. Somehow, he's still unable to notice his body changes...

3. He might not have a drink, but he at least is able to just relax on the couch while watching tv. Plopping his ass down the couch, making the piece of furniture creak in protest from the sudden heft it had to support. Along with a small tremor with how heavy he's become. It was finally time to relax...Except, the remote control was nowhere to be seen...which was more than enough to make him angry once again! Growing even more in the proccess, his shirt finally being torn to shreds in the proccess. He quickly gets up, and easily lifts the sofa to look for the control! Having one more growth spurt as he did.

4. As Bakugo was looking for the remote, Hanta showed up, who couldn't help himself but to praise Bakugo for his immense muscles!

5. Bakugo, not expecting such a compliment all of a sudden, looked down at his body...finally realizing how MASSIVE he's become...almost instinctively starting to make his pecs bounce...which only made him even more satisfied with himself as he looking at his big, hefty pecs bounce up and down to the rhythm...Now even more full of confidence, the big blond looks back at Hanta, and gives him a big bicep flex to show off the muscles he just complimented...Somehow, growing even more as he flexed!

6. Seeing his body grow right before his eyes, Bakugo started to figure out what was going on...But he needed to experiment some more. As Deku was heading to the bathroom, Bakugo rudely gets in his way, slamming his big hand on the door, making sure his smaller classmate is unable to open it, as Bakugo flaunts his huge muscles right before the smaller young man, stating how much smaller Deku is compared to him. Deku, just wanting to do his business, just decided to give Bakugo what he wanted: Praise. As he praised his bigger friend, and gave Bakugo a thumbs up, Bakugo seemed quite pleased to himself, as he was about to find out if his theory was correct...And it was! He grow even MORE massive right after the praises! His pillowy pecs expanding obscenely right in front of Deku!

7. Knowing that indulging his pride only made him bigger and more powerful, he decided to show off to everyone in the Dorm! Finding the perfect opportunity, he waited as everyone gathered at the lounge, and decided to show off and demand for praises in front of everyone! This time, the growth spurts were even more relentless. THe massive hero expanding right before everyone's eyes, filling up more and more of the lounge! The gigantic blond fallind down his ass as he was running out of space to stand up, the whole building shaking in the proccess! ...And he only kept on getting bigger! The others running out of the building as he pretty much filled up the whole room...having the feeling that that won't stop him from growing.

8. Seems like the attention and praises he got were still taking a late effect, as he was still growing even when everyone left. He kept on expanding upwards and outwards! As he kept on growing, and filling up more and more of the building, the ceilings proved no match for his constantly growing size! The floors getting pulverized one by one.

9.From outside, the whole dorm was shaking and shifting...until it only seemed to expand bigger...and bigger...and BIGGER...until

BOOM

Bakugo's massive pecs bounced out of the confines of the building, which was struggling to contain the rebelliously huge young man's growing mass...Annoyed at the building getting in the way, it only took a bit of effort to make it completely collapse with his huge muscles! Finally releasing his body from the confines from the weak building, not his body at full display for his classmates, and EVERYONE in the neighbourhood to see him!...the attention already filling him up with more size, destroying nearby buildings with the growth spurt that followed...

10. Bakugo already grew huge from the attention of his classmates...but now he had a whole neighbourhood to give him attention. Directly escalating with the amount of attention, Bakugo's body violently pulsed bigger through HUGE growth spurts! Each of them making his body destroy more and more of the surrounding buildings. And the bigger he got, the more attention he got from other people from the city...making his growth spurts even more potent!

Not only he was able to see his muscles growing bigger and heavier, but was also able to see how his small surroundings were only becoming even MORE pathetically minuscule as he was getting filled with more size and pride. The whole city had his attention...nearby cities had his attention...the whole country got his attention! The young man growing to titanic proportions!

11. Bakugo, now towering over the whole continent, decided to make himself comfortable. As he laid down, dismissing the possible destruction, he knew there was only one thing to do now...To demand for more attention, tribute and WORSHIP! He wasn't a measly hero anymore, he was MUCH more, he was the one quirk used that has grown his way to godhood! ANd the whole world was there only to make him happier and make him even more powerful...
