Update - Taking a Break, Asking for Feedback (Read Description)

Now that all the sketches from October/November are done, I'll finally be able to take my 2 month break! Which means that I'll be back to accepting suggestions on February 2025! So please adjust your subscriptions according to what you want to do in the coming months. ^^
In the meantime, I had an observation. Currently, I'm focusing on working on 8 sequences/comics/animations each two months. But I've seen some patrons that say that they miss the one-part sketches.
Whenever I take these breaks, I try to think on the future, and if there are any changes that need to be done, either to offer a better service, or for the sake of my mental health.
So I wanted to ask, how do you feel about one part sketches returning? Or would you prefer for things to stay the same? Even if its only one patron, each patron's opinion is very important. From my perspective, one part sketches returning would let me increase the number of sketches to draw each two months, but the amount of comics/sequences/animations will either stay the same (8) or decrease.
According to what you have to say, I'll see how I can adjust things for when I'm back from my break.

I'm perfectly happy with whichever way you want to proceed! All sequences, all single illustrations, a mix, whatever works best for you. :)

2025-01-22 18:00:05 +0000 UTCKnow I'm late to this but I think if you're up for it a mix of both might make everyone happy ^^ Maybe a few more ideas possible each time around but without totally losing the sequences even if it's just a few like before; I love to see some of the ideas get more fleshed out and would hate to see them go. especially since you draw the intermediate stages of growth so well ^^

2024-12-19 02:11:39 +0000 UTCI'd say whatever is less stressful on you, but part of me does miss your one-part pieces. They seemed pretty easy to make for getting across a fun idea that maybe doesn't translate well into a comic/animation? ;v; Either, you're doing great

2024-12-19 02:02:18 +0000 UTCthe comics and animations were all amazing work, but the one pagers do have the advantage of offering more character variety, and with how many chars there are that deserve more size that's definitely a strong point XP I think bringing back a few one pagers each month, or every other month would already work well, and mini sequences might be worth a try too. Of course though, make sure not to take on too much, goin down to a few less comics/anims bimonthly to try things out would be perfectly fine!

Even though I prefer the sequences, the fact that only 8 ideas are chosen out of the probably 60+ that are suggested every two months is a shame because there's so many great ideas here. Also, can I message you about something?

2024-12-18 22:18:12 +0000 UTCPersonally, I prefer the way you do it now with more emphasis on the sequences. I really enjoy seeing the progression of it and it opens up more interesting ideas with different characters interacting. But I do get that they are probably harder work and some variety is always nice for people's different tastes. Plus, there's also the option of two-page stuff as a medium between one-pagers and the full comics.

2024-12-18 21:47:04 +0000 UTCI've got no problem with either, but personally most of the ideas I think of end up fitting more as one sketch instead of an entire sequence so its a bit tough for me to think of something different (or maybe im just running out of ideas 😔)

Sort of like an 'honourable mentions' thing. I personally love the comics but the occasional one parter would definitely not be a bad thing. ☺️
