I have two things to say about that: 1- I like having the leisure of accessing all your content at any time. If I have to constantly save your content every time you upload because I would lose access eventually, it would be very annoying and stressful. And I would also have to dedicate special storage space for it. 2- If you're worried about one-time subscribers who'd buy the full-access tier, download everything, then leave and not renew their subscription, then you should realize that these are the exact same kind of people who would rather steal/pirate your content without paying for it at all in the first place, and trust me, stealing from a Patreon account is a lot easier than you think, but I'm sure you already know. Your long-term subscribers will be people like me, who love your content, and are glad to support you so you can make more of it. These people will be your source of income, not one-time subscribers or thieves. And the more accessible your content is, then the more these supporters will stick with you.

Ask any of your other subscribers if they would prefer seeing all of your content, or just 3 months of it, they will choose the first option every time. This is the most basic privilege that any artist can offer to their subscribers, and all extras like requests, votes, exclusive works, commissions, etc. are for higher tiers.

As you see, $10 for full access to content is very reasonable, a lot of artists even give it for $5. If you want my suggestion, you can make the current character-voting system an exclusive privilege for the $20 tier, if you think you're not getting your work's worth in money. Or, you can offer exclusive pics to the $20 that no other tier has access to, like exclusive sets, or experimental works, or scraps, etc., or even all of the above. There are so many options than just creating a new tier, at double the price, without offering anything extra.

2024-09-26 15:54:42 +0000 UTCI don't appreciate how you're doubling the price of the $10 tier, to create a new $20 that offers the same content as the current $10, and a new, lesser version of the $10 tier. If you're going to create a new $20, it would be much better to make it so that it offers more content than the current version of the $10 tier, like exclusive character requests/voting, or access to scrapped works, etc. If you continue with this plan you announced, then I apologize, I will personally have to unsubscribe.
