The Margot Robbie discourse was getting too much. People didnโt have nearly the same energy against Jacob Elordi for taking the role. For whatever reason, they put all the issues on casting on Margot and the Director (which fair, she casted Jacob). But Jacob definitely could have said no.

Some black girls are mad that they haven't casted a dark skin black woman as the main love interest and whilst I agree with some of the criticism, ( in regards to the erasure of dark skin and brown skin women / femmes ) I wish people would just be honest and say that you want to be desired by white men and white people. Don't use "representation " as a ploy to your own insecurities . Let us know where you stand!!
