All I was curious about was how close it was to the book since I remembered it from middle school. It was cute. My unpopular opinion is I don't want a second season though because the point of the book was to show a snippet of teen love and its complications, with the ending being notoriously uneasy to stomach. Ending in 1 season ambiguously was perfect for me, especially since Justin + Keisha had a way better ending compared to Katherine + Michael.

2025-05-20 16:52:26 +0000 UTCi just watched forever this weekend after watching your video and i had to come back to comment. i am flabbergasted at any discourse around keishaβs hair. i thought maybe the braids got a little bit frizzy at some point (which wouldnβt have bothered me but wouldβve explained the discourse in a particular subset of black women) but no, they always looked fresh. i need to be less online because i can no longer deal with this nonsense and itβs warping my perception of real life peopleβs thoughts.
