All I had to do was delete my history of all the garbage I was consuming everyday. Literally deleted months of trash I was watching. It’s a work in progress but I already feel better. Tik tok bout to be off my phone too!!✌🏾

People need to go back to their immediate lives and go out of their way to find things they like. Twitter will have you thinking your neighbors are out to get u and the kkk is coming to your front door. Meanwhile its just regular ass people living the same life outside 😩 social media has definitely contributed to mental illness. It’s funny because since I’ve been off of it, all my personal issues have revealed themselves and I’ve been back in therapy fixing that. It’s such a distraction

I would go in and out of a private account just to be able to babble to oomfs but seeing dumb ppl talk stupid shit is not a life for me. I get too annoyed but there’s an inherent addictive nature to social media. My last (and FINAL) round was during the X crossover. Elon musk can go die in a Tesla induced electrical fire and i mean that. I plan to spend 2025 even more away from my phone and become a true hobby girl 🧚🏿♀️

I thought i would miss my loose natural hair because I really did love the coils I was just too lazy for that life, and I kept looking for ways to cheat the system, but the system is what it is. I was watching a hair stylist and she all but said the only way I could get the lifestyle I wanted was with locs. My hair was in braids most of the time anyway.

I’ve found myself being so frustrated every time I woke up and scrolled down the timeline seeing prevalent transphobia and anti-blackness. Now since I’ve deleted the app, I’m more focused on hobbies I enjoy like reading, hanging with friends, and jogging outside more. It’s been helpful staying away from that god forsaken app.
