This movie deserves a sequel, just isn't fair.

2026-01-11 15:22:58 +0000 UTCIt is unfortunate, this movie did really badly commercially, because right before it came out, the company of Dungeons and Dragons made a change to their policy that stripped players of their rights to use the D&D brand to create their own material, and it really pissed fans off. So when the movie came out, the fans were mad at Dungeons and Dragons the company, so they did not show up for the movie. Which is sad, because it is a genuinely good time, and with most movies these days being crap, it is sad to see a good movie flop. Some day, Corporate America will learn that pissing off its fans and customers is not a good business model.
