Lieutenant Jones never made it back to United States after the War. He was buried overseas. RIP, Lieutenant Jones.

2025-07-27 04:09:18 +0000 UTCIf you are interested in any more WW2 series, there is a movie, a three-part miniseries called Ike: Countdown to D-Day. It follows Ike Eisenhower, the supreme commander of the Allied forces, as he plans the invasion of Normandy. Tom Selleck plays Ike, and anything with Selleck in it is worth a watch. You might enjoy it. There are no battles in it, it is just about the leaders planning the invasion, but it is a good movie. I would recommend it.
